The invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation on 24 February 2022 and the ongoing war since, has caused death, destruction and massive displacement.  

LWF member churches in the region and the international humanitarian and development arm World Service, were among the first to respond, coming together in solidarity with those affected by the war. 

One year later, the publication Together celebrates this joint work, affirming LWF’s vocation to work for peace and reconciliation.
